Pierced, nickel-plate sheet steel guard with the Crown & Royal Cypher embossed on the centre front. Fluted top cap and chequered backstrap with sharkskin grip. The 82 cm. blade is of hand-forged, tempered steel in a thrust style. Blade etching is standard foliage scrollwork with the Royal Crown and Cypher on the right side and the Canadian Shield-of-Arms on the left. Dress scabbard of bright nickel plate steel with double rings. An optional leather field scabbard is also available.
