CAF / RCMP SWORDS

All swords are to full CAF and RCMP specification: carbon steel blade, acid-etched with the Royal Cypher and the Canadian Shield, stamped hilts and sharkskin grip.

William Scully Ltd. etching templates were changed in 2021 to reflect the new Canadian patterns. Production samples were produced, received and accepted by DND.

If you require a regulation sword, it must be carbon steel (UK/SC/6206 Issue 05, Technical Specification for Ceremonial Swords, Dirks Sgian Dubhand Scabbards: patters 25401 and 29173) (3.1.1 The blade and tang shall be manufactured in one piece from carbon steel hardened and tempered to within the rang of 400 – 500 HV) and be etched with this new pattern. (DND Universal pattern, 2021).
